The Quilting Bee with Beth Bacher
The Quilting Bee, our handwork group led by Beth Bacher, will start Wednesday, January 18st ! Beth sews samples for the pattern company Oliver + S, but her first love is hand anything. She will teach handwork including hand piecing, appliqué, quilting, embroidery/red work and crazy quilts. She will give beginner instruction, but all skill levels are welcome as well. You are invited to work on your own project or on the group project. Classes will be on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, beginning Wednesday, January 18st. There are morning and evening sessions. The morning session is 10am – 12pm, and the evening session is 6pm – 8pm. When you sign up, you’ll be committing to six sessions. If you miss a session, it can be made up during any Friday All Day Sew-In. The cost for 6-session period is $60. The first planned project is from Edyta Sitar’s book, Hop to It! Her designs put a refreshing twist on the Baltimore Album style quilt. It is breathtaking and you won’t want to miss it. Sign up today!
