06-04-2020 More new batiks!

New in the Shop
Seven new beautiful batiks arrived in the shop this week! These fabrics will make beautiful jackets as well as quilts.

New Facebook Page!
Due to a communication glitch, I had to delete the shop Facebook page and create a new one. Please go to the shop's web page at www.the-quiltedcrow.com and click on the Facebook button in the upper right hand corner to like us. Thanks!

Shop Status Update
Carbon County is in the Yellow phase! Therefore beginning 5/26 the shop will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10am to 5pm by appointment. Each appointment will be for 1hr, for one quilter. If you are traveling with another quilter or a designated driver, a maximum of three people will be allowed in the shop at a time. The first appointment will be a 10am and the last appointment will be at 4pm.  Each quilter will be required to wear a mask and I will give you a pair of disposable gloves to wear when you enter. You will have 45 minutes to shop, which gives me 15 minutes to sanitize the shop before the next person comes.
If you place a phone order for curb side pickup, you do not need to make an appointment.
So call to get your fabric fix!!

Although we cannot physically get together for show and tell,  we can still share our creations. Send me a picture of your project and I will post it  in this space to inspire your fellow quilters and make them happy.

Quilters Trek Update

New Dates: June 21st to September 8th

The Row by Row experience has transitioned into Quilters Trek, a new color-guided shopping adventure for quilters. Quilters Trek is similar to the Row by Row program, but with fresh new features.
The theme is a color! True Blue for 2020.
Shops will offer kits designed with predominantly blue fabric. This allows quilters to create quilts that are more pleasing and cohesive.
The shops will create "designs" (not rows). Four 9-inch (finished size) blocks that can be arranged as a row or as an 18-inch square. Shops will give away the block pattern for their design to anyone who comes in their store. Shops will sell kits which contain the fabric for the four blocks.

If you cannot travel to a participating shop to purchase a kit, kits with the pattern will be sold online or by phone order and shipped to you.
The free "stand alone" pattern will still be available in-store ONLY
during the event.

Each kit will have a Fabric Token hidden inside the kit - like a cracker jack prize. In addition, each shop will receive 3 Golden Tokens (also 2-1/2 inch fabric squares). Finders of Golden Tokens will be featured on the new Golden Selfie Facebook page.

Rules to win are a little different. Quilter must complete a quilt (quilted, bound, labeled) using 32 nine-inch block designs from at least 8 participating shops, which means 4 blocks from each shop. After that they can include whatever they want… even rows from previous RxR years.
The time window to submit a quilt for a prize is July 15th to October 15th.
Each shop will offer a prize of 15 fat quarters plus a bonus prize if the quilt includes the shop’s blocks to 2 different quilters!
