04-02-2020 New children's fabric book!

Thank-you!!
This week 156 masks were delivered to the shop! The masks have been distributed to the Mahoning Valley Nursing Home, the Lehigh Valley Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown.

Shop Status
Due to the Governor's mandate the shop is closed until the ban is lifted.  I will in the shop Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 5pm to fill web and phone orders and sew masks. Much of the shop's fabric is posted on our website for your viewing pleasure. If you need something, please call ahead and we can arrange for a curb side pick-up or I can mail the item to you.

Hospitals & Nursing Homes Need Your Help!

The need for masks continues for our hospitals and nursing homes.  So I am asking you to get out your stash and make masks!

If you do not have the stash to spare,
a generous quilter is willing to donate kits containing pre-cut fabric to make masks following the video tutorial seen at the Missouri Star Quilt company for the rectangular pleated masks with ties.  Each kit will have enough material to make 6 masks.  If you need a kit, please email the shop at qcrow@ptd.net to make arrangements for pick-up.

The shop will be a drop-off site for the masks. Please put them in a plastic bag and set them on the shop's porch during the day on a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday so I am sure to see them.  I will distribute them to the nursing homes and hospitals that have contacted me.

If you live in the Lehigh Valley you can deliver your masks to the Lehigh Valley Hospital at 2024 Lehigh St. Allentown, Monday- Friday between 9am and 3pm.

Deb Ranck is organizing crews of 10 people/day to sew masks at the Heritage Center in Summit Hill. (The Heritage Center is located at 1 West Hazard St. in the old St. Paul's UCC church.)The sessions will be held from 10am to 2pm. Drinks will be provided, but sewers should bring their lunch. Eachsewer will have their own 6' table, (following CDC guidelines) and givena mask pattern to follow. Some fabric has been donated, but they are also accepting donations of cotton or cotton/poly fabric. If you are interested, contact Deb at 484-425-0255 to schedule a day.
