~Winter Weather Store Policy~
Since folks visit our store from all over the area, it's a good idea to make sure we're open before you trek out for fabric on a snowy day.
If you check the School Closings and the Palmerton, Lehighton, or Jim Thorpe schools are closed that day, we will usually close as well.
There are several ways to find out if we're open during bad weather:
Check our website at www.the-quiltedcrow.com. Any weather-related announcements will appear on the front page and we'll make every effort to update the page as early in the morning as possible.
Call the shop at (610)900-4700. If the shop is closed or has modified hours that day, we'll be sure to put up a temporary Voice Mail message with the details.
Look for an announcement on our Facebook page, which will be updated in the event of any modified store hours. Our Facebook page can be accessed by clicking HERE.
New in the shop this week:
~The "Magnificent Blooms" Collection"
Designed by Jackie Robinson of Animas Quilts for Benartex
This is a collection that is really well-named, as its blooms are truly magnificent! The featured bloom is a delicate white calla lily, beautifully painted and surrounded by other colorful flowers. The collection also includes a beautiful floral panel on a richly textured black background and a stunning border fabric. Coordinating wave texture fabrics and prints compliment the collection.

Fabrics shown above available in the store now and will be on our website soon!
When visiting the shop this holiday season, be sure to take a walk to the park located less than a block away to view the beautiful Christmas decorations. The shop has once again sponsored a tree for your voting consideration.
There will be over 150 decorated Christmas Trees in the park this year. The festivities will begin this Saturday at noon with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4pm.
For more information about the event, please click HERE to read a recent write-up in the Times News newspaper.
~Clockworx Quilt Class~
Instructor: Sharon Gower
This class uses the Clockworx 49” x 71” quilt paper-piecing pattern by Judy Niemeyer, which is a Cut Loose Press pattern. It is different than a traditional Quiltworx pattern in that it utilizes various tools and Charm Elements to create fast, fun, projects and layouts aimed at the beginner or a quilter that simply wants to try out a fast project, learn a new technique, or how to use a new tool.
