9/26/19 - The clock is ticking on the Clockworx Quilt!
 ~Clockworx Quilt Class~ Instructor: Sharon Gower The first session of this class is only two weeks away but there is still time to register, don't delay! This class uses the Clockworx 49” x 71” quilt paper-piecing pattern by Judy Niemeyer, which is a Cut Loose Press pattern. It is different than a traditional Quiltworx pattern in that it utilizes various tools and Charm Elements to create fast, fun, projects and layouts aimed at the beginner or a quilter that simply wants to try out a fast project, learn a new technique, or how to use a new tool.  NOTE: This is a 2-part class on consecutive Saturdays and will be held at the Palmerton Library located across the street from the shop. Session ONE: Saturday, October 12th, 10:30am - 3:30pm Session TWO: Saturday, October 19th, 10:30am – 3:30pm Class Fee: $60 (includes both sessions) The Clockworx class also requires: (1) Clockworx Cut Loose Press Pattern - $3.50 (1) Charm Element Pack #20 – $24.50 (1) Add-A-Quarter Ruler Fabrics ***Pre-work is required and will be provided upon class registration.*** To sign up, please call the shop at (610)900-4700 or click HERE to register online. NEW! ~Pumpkin Rag Quilt or Wall Hanging Class~ NEW! Instructor: Cindy Mengel-Smith This great fall wall hanging quilt is made from homespun fabrics.  (click the image to view a larger version) In class, you will learn how to create the rag quilt which consists of diamond rag blocks and the base blocks for the pumpkins. You will then learn how to make the chenille pumpkins to appliqué onto your new wall hanging. Sewcial Guild -The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, October 24th at 11am. The guild meets in the upper floor Gallery of the Palmerton Library, across the street from the Shop. Elevator access to the upper floor is available. Quilts of Valor - The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, October 24th at 2pm after the Sewcial Guild meeting. ***As always, we'd like to remind you that groups and guilds are a great way to make new friends!
