~New in the shop this week:~ Forest Dance Batiks Designed by Susan Winget for Wilmington Prints  (click to view a larger version) Also available:  24" Panel Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 2 1/2" x 24 1/2"  This 2 1/2" x 24 1/2" rectangle ruler is the perfect size. Cutting directly off the bolt has never been easier! The ruler features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1 inch grids marked in 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch increments. This ruler is great for cutting Jelly Roll(C) strips and binding strips. If you missed the opportunity to sign up, both will be offered again in the spring of 2020. ~English Paper Piecing~ Instructor: Pat Piasecki English Paper Piecing (EPP) is the technique of folding fabric over paper templates and then hand sewing them together. The paper template shape ensures the blocks are accurate and also makes it easier to piece angles together.  Pat will teach you how to make one of the 4 flower combinations shown above (your choice) using 2 different hexagon sizes. Date: Saturday, September 14th, 1pm - 4pm at the shop Class Fee: $20 Class Fee includes hexie templates and an applique' needle. Supply list will be provided upon registration. NOTE: This is a 2-part class on consecutive Saturdays and will be held at the Palmerton Library located across the street from the shop.
