The "Emma" Collection from QT Fabrics  (Click the image to view a larger version) Botanical blooms rich with delicate details bring a tranquil feeling to these gorgeous prints from QT. This year's Hop will feature Toscana fabrics from Northcott.  2019 Passport Block Please note that this year's list of participating shops has changed and you can view it by clicking HERE. ~"Stonehenge Block Party" Block Kits~  Block kits are available once again!  Also available in the shop now: "Celtic Crow" Quilt Kits" Size: 56" x 64"  (click the image to view a larger version)  ~12 Block Tee Shirt Quilt~ Instructor: Sandra Darlington ***Please note that the time for the second class session has been changed to accommodate the library's summer hours.*** For all those tee shirts your can't part with, learn how to turn them into a quilt!   Date: This is a 2-session class which will be held on consecutive Saturdays. Session 1 will be held at the shop and Session 2 will be held at the Palmerton Library located across the street from the shop. Session One (in-store): Saturday, August 17th, 10:30am - Noon Session Two (at library): Saturday, August 24th, 10:30am - 1pm Class Fee for both sessions: $30 A complete supply list will be provided upon class registration. Sewing machine and rotary cutting skills are required. It is also recommended that you bring your lunch to Session Two. To sign up, please click HERE to register online or simply call the shop at (610)900-4700. ~English Paper Piecing~ Instructor: Pat Piasecki English Paper Piecing (EPP) is the technique of folding fabric over paper templates and then hand sewing them together. The paper template shape ensures the blocks are accurate and also makes it easier to piece angles together.  Pat will teach you how to make one of the 4 flower combinations shown above (your choice) using 2 different hexagon sizes. Date: Saturday, September 14th, 1pm - 4pm at the shop Class Fee: $20 Class Fee includes hexie templates and an applique' needle. Supply list will be provided upon registration. NOTE: This is a 2-part class on consecutive Saturdays and will be held at the Palmerton Library located across the street from the shop. Dates: Session ONE: Saturday, September 21st, 10:30am - 3pm Session TWO: Saturday, September 28th, 10:30am – 3pm Class Fee: $45 (includes both sessions) + Pattern ($12) + Fabric ***Pre-work is required and will be provided upon class registration.*** To sign up, please call the shop at (610)900-4700 or click HERE to register online. ~Beginning Quilting by Machine - Fall 2019~ Instructor: Cindy Mengel-Smith Make either a crib or lap size quilt from start to finish! Eight 2-hour sessions every Friday OR Saturday from 10:30am - 12:30pm, starting on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th. Friday classes are still open but there is only 1 spot left in the Saturday class.  This class will introduce you to quilting by machine and rotary cutting. You will learn tips and tricks, beginning with choosing fabrics, to make your quilting journey a successful one. The guild meets in the upper floor Gallery of the Palmerton Library, across the street from the Shop. Elevator access to the upper floor is available. Quilts of Valor - The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, August 22nd at 2pm after the Sewcial Guild meeting. ***As always, we'd like to remind you that groups and guilds are a great way to make new friends!
