~"Work in Progress" Project Bag~

Instructor:  Sue Paul


This 17" x 21" bag is just as the title suggests; it's used to store your work in progress.  The clear vinyl window allows you to easily see what's inside and helps to keep all of your projects organized!

Date:  Saturday, June 22nd, 10:30am - 3:30pm

Class Fee:  $30


If you do not have a charm packet containing thirty-four 5" squares, you will need to cut thirty-four 5" squares from your favorite fabrics before the class.  A complete supply list will be provided upon class registration.

Sewing machine and rotary cutting skills are required.  It is also recommended that you bring your lunch.

~"Good Vibrations" Quilt Class~

Instructor:  Christie Washburn

This beautiful bargello-type quilt is made using our Stonehenge Gradations Ombre fabrics and "Oh Canada!" blender fabric.  In class, you can create either the 50"x 70" Throw OR the 93" x 105" Queen size quilt.




Date:  This is a 2-session class which will be held on consecutive Saturdays at the Palmerton Library located across the street from the shop.

Session One:
Saturday, July 13th, 10:30am - 3:30pm

Session Two:
Saturday, July 20th, 10:30am - 3:30pm

Class Fee for both sessions:  $50 + Pattern $10


Sewing machine and rotary cutting skills are required.  It is also recommended that you bring your lunch.

*NEW* ~Free-motion Exercises Classes~ *NEW*

Back by popular demand, this time on consecutive Saturdays!  Learn how to do many basic machine free-motion quilting patterns shown below in 2 fun sessions.


Class #1 shown above is called "The Road to Stippling."  You will learn how to sew cursive, paisley, ripples, wood grain, echo, enhance a print and stipple quilting.


Class #2 shown above is called "The Road to Pebble Stitching."  You will learn how to sew string of pearls, lights, stars, spirals, 3's and E's, floral and pebble quilting.

Class Dates:

Class 1:  Saturday, August 3rd, 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Class 2:  Saturday, August 10th, 12:30pm - 3:30pm


Class Fee:  $20 each OR $35 if you take both classes.  Supply lists will be available upon class registration and students must supply their own muslin quilt sandwich squares.

Both classes will be held at the Palmerton Library, located across the street from the shop, in the upper floor Gallery.  Elevator access to the upper floor is available.

For all those tee shirts your can't part with, learn how to turn them into a quilt!




Date:  This is a 2-session class which will be held on consecutive Saturdays.  Session 1 will be held at the shop and Session 2 will be held at the Palmerton Library located across the street from the shop.

Session Two (at library):
Saturday, August 24th, 10:30am - 3pm

Class Fee for both sessions:  $35

~The Stonehenge Block Party block kits:  Update~

Because the Stonehenge fabrics are still back-ordered, our kits are currently not available.  If the fabric is delivered as promised, we should be able to fill block kit ordersby the beginning of July.

How it works:  Steve Hansut will be picking up scissors at the shop on Fridays and dropping them off on Friday of the following week.  

Pricing will be as follows:

Scissors with up to a 4-inch blade:  $5.00
 
Dressmaker & Medium Scissors:  $7.00


Please note:  Payment is cash-only, due at pickup.

Please note that some scissors can't be sharpened because of specific metal content and/or structural problems and all sharpening will be at Steve's discretion.  If your scissors are unable to be sharpened, they will be returned at no cost to you.

Scissors must be dropped off at the shop by 5pm on Fridays.


Crow Sew - The next scheduled meeting at the Crow will now be on Wednesday, June 19th at 10am.

Sewcial Guild -The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, June 27th at 12pm (please note the later noon start time for the June meeting).  The guild meets in the upper floor Gallery of the Palmerton Library, across the street from the Shop.  Elevator access to the upper floor is available.


Quilts of Valor -  The next scheduled meeting at the Crow will be on Thursday, June 27th at 3pm.
