~Pocket Full of Ruler Bag Class~

Instructor:  Janet Starner


This bag, which measures 21” x 26”, contains many pockets and is designed to carry your rulers, mats and more!



NOTE:  This is a 2-part class on consecutive Saturdays and will be held at the Palmerton Library located across the street from the shop.  

Dates:

Session ONE:  Saturday, October 20th, 10:30am - 3:30pm

Session TWO:  Saturday, October 27th, 10:30am – 3:30pm

Class Fee:  $45 (includes both sessions) + Pattern ($12) + Fabric

Pre-work is required and will be provided upon class registration.

Mexican Cross Express Quilt Class

Learn how to combine flying geese, rectangles and squares to make this 60" x 60" Mexican Cross Quilt using Cherie's "express" technique!

*NEW* ~Free-motion Exercises Classes~ *NEW*

***Due to popular demand, this is the fifth time we'll be offering these two Free-motion classes, on consecutive Tuesdays this time.  For those of you who were interested but couldn't make prior weekend classes, this one's for you!***

Learn how to do many basic machine free-motion quilting patterns shown below in 2 fun sessions!



Class #1 (top half of above picture) is called "The Road to Stippling."  You will learn how to sew cursive, paisley, ripples, wood grain, echo, enhance a print and stipple quilting.

Class #2 (bottom half of above picture) is called "The Road to Pebble Stitching."  You will learn how to sew string of pearls, lights, stars, spirals, 3's and E's, floral and pebble quilting.


Class Dates:

Class 1:  Tuesday, November 20th, 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Class 2:  Tuesday, November 27th, 12:30pm - 3:30pm

Both classes will be held at the Palmerton Library, located across the street from the shop, in the upper floor Gallery.  Elevator access is available to the upper floor.

Class Fee:  $15 each OR $25 if you take both classes.  Students must supply their own muslin quilt sandwich squares.  Supply lists will be available upon class registration.

Please note that if you register for both classes online, you will be charged $15 for each and will receive an immediate $5 refund after we process your order.




Now is the time to get those scissors sharpened so you'll be ready for your fall projects!

How it works:  Steve Hansut will be picking up scissors at the shop on Fridays and dropping them off on Friday of the following week.  

Pricing will be as follows:

Scissors with up to a 4-inch blade:  $5.00
 
Dressmaker & Medium Scissors:  $7.00


Please note:  Payment is cash-only, due at pickup.

Please note that some scissors can't be sharpened because of specific metal content and/or structural problems and all sharpening will be at Steve's discretion.  If your scissors are unable to be sharpened, they will be returned at no cost to you.

Scissors must be dropped off at the shop by 5pm on Fridays.

~2018 Shop Hop~

Passports are on sale now for only $5.  The Hop starts in 22 days, so get your passports while supplies last!



Each Passport includes a tote bag, the Passport book itself which contains valuable coupons for each participating shop and the fabric for the Free Block shown below.

NOTE: Between now and November 1st, patterns and kits may be sold in-store only and can not be shipped.


The Quilted Crow is still participating in the Row by Row event and our 2018 row shown above is entitled "Sew Jazzy."  Patterns are available nowin the shop only for $8 and Row Kits are also available for $18.
 
Crow Sew The next scheduled meeting at the Crow will be on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at 10am.  

Sewcial Guild - The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at 11am.  The guild meets in the upper floor Gallery of the Palmerton Library, across the street from the Shop.  Elevator access to the upper floor is available.

Quilts of Valor -  The next scheduled meeting at the Crow will be onThursday, October 25th, 2018 at 2pm.
