The creation of batiks is an ancient art that has been passed down through generations of artisans. Banyan Batiks are handmade by the local artisans of Indonesia who take pride in their culture and leading expertise in batiks.

This handmade process consists of dyeing and stamping wax prints onto fabric. The workmanship and technique of each artisan is what creates the beautiful patterns and colors that make batiks so desirable. While each artisan's workmanship is unique, so is each bolt of fabric.
