Row by Row 2018  The Quilted Crow is once again participating in the Row by Row event and our 2018 row shown above is entitled "Sew Jazzy." Free patterns are available in the shop now (1 per customer) and kits are available for $9.50.
 Our “Sew in Tune!” Fabric License Plate shown above is available for sale now! How it works:
Travel and visit as many participating quilt shops as you'd like and collect a free pattern from each. All participating shops will be handing out their free Row by Row patterns and selling kits until September 4th.
The first person to bring a finished (quilted, bound and labeled) quilt using at least 8 different rows from 8 different participating stores into a participating quilt shop will receive a bundle of 25 beautiful fat quarters. If your quilt also contains the row from that particular shop, you'll also win a bonus prize!

Designed by Dan Morris for Quilting TreasuresDan Morris brings the fantasy world of wizards and spells to life with Spellbound. Create a magical project featuring potions, books of spells, wands and wise owls. The coordinates in vivid blues and purples complimented by rich black and cream come together in a wonderful, wizard-y collection perfect for your favorite sorcerer.
Shown above is our store sample quilt which measures 50" x 56". Kits will be available in shop after July 9th. ~Scissor Sharpening service~ Here's a great opportunity to sharpen up those dull scissors! Steve Hansut will be performing this service.
How it works: Steve will be picking up scissors at the shop on Wednesdays and dropping them off on Fridays of the NEXT week.
Pricing will be as follows:
Scissors with up to a 4-inch blade: $5.00
Dressmaker & Medium Scissors: $7.00
Please note: Payment is cash-only, due at pickup.
Please note that some scissors can't be sharpened because of specific metal content and/or structural problems and all sharpening will be at Steve's discretion. If your scissors are unable to be sharpened, they will be returned at no cost to you.
Scissors must be dropped off at the shop by 5pm on Wednesdays.
 ~Beginning Paper Piecing~Instructor: Carol Moll
Learn to paper piece an easy "directionally challenged" arrow block in colors of your choice (great for scraps!), and place it on a shirt you can wear or a bag to carry your sewing projects!

Crow Sew - PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 4th! The next scheduled meeting at the Crow will be on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 at 10am. Sewcial Guild - The next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at 12pm. PLEASE NOTE THE LATER NOON START TIME FOR THE JULY MEETING! The guild meets in the upper floor Gallery of the Palmerton Library, across the street from the Shop. Elevator access to the upper floor is available.Quilts of Valor - QoV is on hiatus for the summer and will be meeting again in September, watch this space.
