If you want to see a beautiful sight, visit the Palmerton Park in the evening to see all the lighted Christmas trees. The Quilted Crow tree is on the pathway to the playground. I dedicated the tree this year in honor of Anita’s life. I know that typically once someone passes, the dedications are made in memory of someone, but I remember Anita every day, when I looked at the samples she made or when I fold fabric into fat quarters the way she taught me. I wanted the tree to celebrate Anita’s life, her artistic talent, quilting knowledge, great business sense, and warm personality which made the shop special. I hope you will find the time to visit the park and remember how Anita touched your life. SewCial Guild Christmas Ornament Fundraiser for Family Promise of Carbon CountyIn cooperation with The Quilted Crow, the SewCial Quilting Guild is offering hand-made Christmas ornaments which are available for a modest donation. Many different ornaments are available from the Christmas Tree located in the front of our shop.
Also, the SewCial guild is also offering small hand-made Gift Bags in several different styles as shown below:
All donations collected from the fundraiser will go to Family Promise of Carbon County, which is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization serving homeless and low income families in the county and surrounding area.
